Armenian President, UK ambassadors discuss regional issues![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Newly-appointed UK joint ambassadors to Armenia, Jonathan James Aves and Katherine Jane Leach submitted their credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. Armenian leader welcomed the ambassadors, voicing hope for their activity to foster strengthening of Armenian-British ties. The sides attached special importance to holding high-level visits and regular consultations between foreign ministries of the two countries, as well as deepening of cooperation among EU member states. Discussion of regional issues was also in focus of the meeting, presidential press service reported. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
