  Expert: war in Iran fraught with humanitarian catastrophe for ArmeniaJanuary 25, 2012 - 15:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia must get ready for a possible war in Iran, an expert said. “In case of hostilities, Iranians will flow into Armenia what may lead to humanitarian catastrophe,” Sargis Asatryan told a press conference in Yerevan. Armenia will be unable to cope with this quantity of refugees because it is not prepared for such a scenario, which is however unlikely in the near future, according to him. The U.S. and other Western powers believe Iran is developing nuclear weapons. Tehran says its program is peaceful. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
