  Soldiers’ parents, MPs awarded at Armenian parliament January 27, 2012 - 16:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Assembly hosted an event dedicated to 20th anniversary of the Armenian armed forces. On behalf of Armenian parliament speaker Samvel Nikoyan, parents of families, whose three sons serve in the army, received diplomas and monetary awards. In addition, Armenia's First Deputy Defense Minister David Tonoyan and a number of MPs, who participated in Artsakh national liberation struggle, were granted RA NA honorary medals. Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, in turn, awarded parliament speaker Samvel Nikoyan, and a number of MPs, among them Hrayr Karapetyan, Ruben Hayrapetyan, Sedrak Saroyan, Arakel Movsisyan, Artur Aghabekian, Armen Mkhitaryan, Rustam Gasparyan, Ashot Aghababyan with anniversary medals. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
