ARMENIAN AND RUSSIAN FOREIGN MINISTRIES CONFER IN FOREIGN POLICY PLANNING

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy foreign minister of Russia Alexey Meshkov and director of the political planning department of the Armenian foreign ministry Ashot Voskanian have held conferences in Moscow over the issues of foreign policy planning. The parties discussed international and regional issues, including the situation in the South Caucasus, the press service of the Russian foreign ministry told "Mediamax" agency today. "The interlocutors stated the similarity of the approaches of the two countries in the forming of a secure, just and democratic world order under the conditions of the strengthening role of the UN and international law," the Russian foreign ministry reported. Alexey Meshkov and Ashot Voskanian expressed interest in expanding contacts between analytical subdivisions of the Armenian and Russian foreign ministries, which "fully fits the high level of cooperation between the two countries at the international arena."
