APPLICATION FOR US IMMIGRATION VISAS TO BE HENCEFORTH ACCEPTED ELECTRONICALLY

PanARMENIAN.Net - The US State Department has stated changing the rules of participation in the annual lottery for getting an immigration visa. As the US embassy in Armenia told "Arminfo" agency, applications for participation in the lottery will from now on be accepted only online, via a special website. The State Department has resorted to such a measure to make the lottery more effective and protect against forgery. Thus, it decreases the chances for those applicants, who intend to threaten US state interests. It should be noted that 55 thousand visas are annually raffled off by the program and 6 million people register for getting them.
