Top officials to visit Armenia in 2012![]() February 16, 2012 - 21:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister held a number of meetings in the framework of Paris Pact ministerial meeting on drugs from Afghanistan. Edward Nalbandian met with OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier. The parties discussed recent developments in Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, with Mr. Zannier expressing concern over contact line tensions and stressing the importance of shaping a mechanism to investigate the incidents. Armenian FM further met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, focusing on a number of international and regional issues. Meetings with Chairperson of the OSCE Permanent Council Eoin O'Leary, as well as Foreign Ministers of Austria and Montenegro were also on Nalbandian’s visit agenda. During meeting with the OSCE official, the parties discussed Irish Foreign Minster’s and Eoin O'Leary’s visits to Armenia. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
