SITTING OF CIS COUNCIL OF FOREIGN MINISTERS IN DUSHANBE BEGAN WITH DISCUSSION OF SITUATION IN IRAQApril 11, 2003 - 19:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The recurrent sitting of the Council of the CIS foreign ministers in Dushanbe began today with a closed meeting. As reported by "Novosti" Russian agency referring to a source in the Russian delegation, "the heads of the delegations discussed the situation in Iraq in private." Let us remind that Armenian foreign ministry head Vardan Oskanian also participates in the sitting. Then the meeting participants set about discussing issues of the sitting agenda, comprising 18 questions. One of the key problems the ministers will have to discuss is the draft of the CIS Program on struggle against international terrorism and other manifestations of extremism.
