Armenia strengthens CSTO activities![]() March 12, 2012 - 16:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia strengthens activities of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in the country, develops new strategies, new visions, and considers new approaches aiming to boost the CSTO importance, Secretary of the Armenian National Security Council (NSC) said. “Armenia will host military trainings within the CSTO framework bringing together all seven member states, during which Armenia will demonstrate its military potential,” Artur Baghdasaryan told a press conference in Yerevan. NSC secretary also informed that Armenia is going to purchase ultra-modern armament to protect its borders. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
