YEREVAN OFFICIAL REPRESENTATION OPENS IN MOSCOWFebruary 26, 2004 - 17:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - An official representation of Yerevan opens in Moscow today. A delegation of Armenia headed by Yerevan Mayor Yervand Zakharian today left for Moscow to participate in the opening ceremony on the invitation of Yuri Luzhkov, the city Mayor. As reported by the press service of the Yerevan administration, in the course of the visit February 26-27 a wide range of issues of cooperation between the two capitals will be discussed. A meeting of E. Zakharian and Y. Luzhkov is also planned. Then they will participate in the ceremony of laying of a memorial to famous Armenian composer Aram Khachatrian. February 27 the Yerevan mayor will participate in an Armenian-Russian business forum and an exhibition of Armenian production in Moscow. He will also visit a number of objects being built in the Russian capital, including the building site of a new Armenian church.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
