BAKU COURT RELEASED THOSE CONVICTED FOR ATTEMPT TO
UPSET CONFERENCE ON NATO EXERCISE PLANNING

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today the Baku Court gave the final consideration to the appeal of 6 activists of the Azeri Organization for Karabakh Liberation (OKL), who were sentenced to different terms of imprisonment. As reported by Turan news agency, the punishment will be commuted from imprisonment to conditional sentence. Thus, the term of conditional deprivation of liberty of OKL leader Akif Nagi has been reduced to 2 years, F. Mamedov's - to a year, other members' - to 1.5 year. To note they were all convicted for the attempt to upset the work of the NATO military exercise planning conference, which was held in Baku with the participation of the Armenian officers.
