US TO PROVIDE ABOUT $84 MILLION TO ARMENIA IN 2005September 28, 2004 - 18:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Last weekend the US Senate approved $75 million in assistance to Armenia in FY 2005, which represents a$10 million increase from the aid approved by the House. The amount of the same assistance to Azerbaijan will make $38 million. The Senate also agreed on parity in military aid to Armenia and Azerbaijan amounting in $8.75 million for each country.
