PanARMENIAN.Net - Co-Chairs of the
OSCE Minsk Group for settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict (Russia - Yuri Merzlyakov, US - Steven Mann, France - Bernard Fassier) will submit a corresponding document drawn up during the so-called Prague negotiation process for consideration by Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Kazan August 26. This was stated by Y. Merzlyakov, reported Regnum news agency. At that the Russian diplomat did not specify the details of the document, noting only that "one has to live that long to see the Kazan meeting." The meeting of R. Kocharian and I. Aliyev in Kazan is scheduled within the framework of the CIS unofficial summit August 26. Earlier the Armenian President stated he did not have much optimism over the productiveness of the meeting. In his words, "the stands of the parties differ much." "We suppose there is no way back to the previous status of Nagorno Karabakh," the President underscored. As of his Azeri counterpart, I. Aliyev thinks the fact of holding talks with the Armenian party itself is a concession by Baku.
