Chirac Believes Solution of Karabakh Issue Close Prospect

PanARMENIAN.Net - «Armenia is a friendly country to France, like Azerbaijan. We are sure attaining of a settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is a close prospect today,» French President Jacques Chirac stated when addressing French diplomats. He assured France will do its best for 2006 to be a year of peace in the Caucasus. «Working side by side with our colleagues, we will make every effort for peace to be established in the region in 2006,» Jacques Chirac emphasized.
