Oskanian and Mammadyarov to Discuss Expediency of Presidents Meeting, Baku States

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers, Elmar Mammadyarov and Vartan Oskanian, will meet in London on 18-19 January. The meeting will be held within the Prague process of resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, said Tahir Tagizade, the spokesman for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). One of the major objectives of the FMs' meeting is to determine expediency of the next round of dialogue between the presidents of the two countries - Ilham Aliyev and Robert Kocharian, Tagizade said. The Presidents meet when there are corresponding preconditions available, thus the ministers are to determine the expediency of the meeting, he stressed. Tagizade noted that he did not possess information on the forthcoming visit of the OSCE Minsk Group to the region in the second half of January. "The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry does not possess such information," he underscored, reported Trend agency.
