Azeri Coach: It's Not Known Where Armenian and Azeri Footballers Will Meet But Everything Is Possible

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Our footballers are ready to admit any decision by the UEFA and FIFA as regards the place of the meeting with Armenians," Coach of the Azeri national team Vagif Sadykhov stated. "It is not known yet where the teams will meet but everything is possible," he noted. On the eve of the sortition Secretary General of the Azerbaijani Football Federation Fuad Asadov said that even if the national teams fall into the same group he will propose to meet in neutral territory, in Tbilisi. However this initiative needs detailed consideration by the UEFA and the decision will not be known soon, Trend agency reported.



To remind, the sortition of the Euro-2008 soccer selection tournament was held in the Swiss town of Montreux. The composition of the groups was determined by sortition. The national teams of Armenia and Azerbaijan were included into Group A.
