EUROPEAN COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE CONDEMNED TURKEY'S POLICY TOWARDS NON-MUSLIM MINORITIES

PanARMENIAN.Net - The rights of Armenians, Greeks and Jews for private property are being violated in Turkey. As reported by "Arminfo" agency referring to Macedonian Press Agency, EU commissioner for enlargement Gunter Verheugen said. In his words, in many cases private property of non-Muslim minorities in Turkey is confiscated or is exposed to the threat of confiscation. The European Commission representative considers that the reforms recently held in Turkey do not include all issues of religious minority rights for property.
