Events to Mark Armenian Genocide 91st Anniversary in Poland

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 23 in Warsaw Armenian Youth Association in Poland in cooperation with other Armenian organizations will mark the 91st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey in 1915. Apart from the members of the Armenian community in Poland, famous artists, historians, politicians and diplomats will take part in the event. The program of the event includes a silent march, which will end at the Turkish Embassy in Poland, an anniversary meeting in the Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw, during which Mr. Maciej Bohosyan, the Representative of the Armenian Minority at the Government of Poland, Mr. Ashot Galoyan, the Armenian Ambassador to Poland and Mr. Rafael Amirian, the President of the Poland-Armenia Association will make statements. Besides, a film on the Armenian Genocide will be screened during the meeting. An Armenian mass will be co-celebrated by the shepherds of the Armenian community of Poland: Tadevos Isahakian-Zalezski and Artur Avdalyan.
