U.S. military commanders against forceful solution to Iranian problem

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Forceful solution to the Iranian problem is the last variant and I do not support it. The problem must be resolved through diplomatic ways," Commander of U.S. Central Command Admiral William J. Fallon stated in Dushanbe after having a meeting with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmonov.

He said, both the USA and Iran are interested in stabilizing the situation in Iraq, this proceeds from the interests of both countries. "US's priorities in the region is stability in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iran might play a constructive role in stabilizing the situation in Iraq and Afghanistan, but it does not want to play that role yet," Admiral Fallon said, RIA "Novosti" reports.
