9/11 victims commemorated throughout the globe today

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today the United States will commemorate 3000 victims of the September 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. The sixth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks is marked as Patriot Day. Liturgies will be chanted throughout the country.



At 8.46, when the first hijacked plane crashed into one of the Twin Towers, the U.S. President and the White House officials will honor the memory of the victims with a minute of silence.



A commemoration ceremony will be also held in the Pentagon, at the memorial to the terrorist attack victims.
