GEORGIAN SECURITY COUNCIL SECRETARY ARRIVED IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today secretary of the Security Council of Georgia, assistant of the president on national security issues Tedo Japaridze arrived in Armenia on a two-day visit. As he told journalists at the airport, issues of bilateral relations, including problems referring to restoration of the Abkhazian strip of the Transcaucasian railway are expected to be discussed with the Armenian political leadership. "We also intend to discuss regional problems, as well as relations of Georgia and Armenia with other countries of the region - Russia, Turkey and Iran," - T. Japaridze said. At the same time he especially noted the opportunity to discuss the Georgian-Russian relations, emphasizing "Tbilisi welcomes the readiness of other countries to convey certain positive impulse to these relations."
