Opposition rally participants held traditional march in downtown

PanARMENIAN.Net - When addressing the opposition rally today, Impeachment bloc leader Nikol Pashinyan said that 1 million 300 thousand people attended the rally during the last 7 days.



According to him, the opposition movement refers not only the presidential election but also to global change of the public life.



"Now there is one issue on national agenda. Either Serzh Sargsyan or the whole nation is to go," said Levon Ter-Petrosyan for his part.



The number of tents at Liberty Square has reached 60.



Today, also, the opposition rally participants held a traditional march in downtown



It's also reported that on February 27, law enforcers detained Serezha Siradeghyan, the brother of former interior minister and Yerevan mayor Vano Siradeghyan.



Serezha Siradeghyan did not have a permit for possession of TOZ rifle that was found in his house in Koti village.



Meanwhile, when addressing the parliament, Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan reiterated his readiness to collaborate with all political forces and even form a coalition government.



The call was accepted by National Unity opposition party leader Artashes Geghamyan, who has already congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on victory in the presidential election and stated that he doesn't intend to appeal the outcome in the Constitutional Court.



Today, the Armenian police circulated a statement which says, in part, "Despite numerous warnings, Levon Ter-Petrosyan and his supporters continue unauthorized rallies, marches and strikes. The Police call on the demonstrators to stop illegal actions and not violate the public order. The Police possess the authority to ensure public security."
