THAI SPECIALISTS SHOWED INTEREST TO "ARMENIKUM" PREPARATION USED TO TREAT AIDS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Thailand signed a joint statement on the tenth anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations. The signing took place today within the framework of Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian's visit to Thailand. In the course of the one-day visit V.Oskanian has met with Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, health minister Sudarat Keyuraphan and the representatives of the Armenian diaspora of the South-East Asia. In the course of V.Oskanian's meeting with T.Shinawatra it was noted that there are no variances between Armenia and Thailand in political matters and the cooperation develops rather successfully. Concerning economic cooperation the parties emphasized that the available potential is being used insufficiently. Armenian foreign ministry head presented the promising spheres of economic cooperation to the Thai Prime Minister. In the course of the meeting with health minister Keyuraphan the Thai side showed interest towards scientific elaboration of the Armenian specialists, in particular, to "Armenikum" preparation being used for treating AIDS.
