ONE OF SALGAREDA ITALIAN CITY STREETS RENAMED ARMENIAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the memory of the Armenian genocide in Ottoman Turkey in 1915 one of the streets in Salgareda Italian city was renamed Armenia street. As reported by Armenian foreign ministry press service, such decision was made by Salgareda city administration, which had recognized the Armenian genocide in 2000. According to the decision of another Italian city - Odertso prefecture one of its streets is named after Vittoria Aganuri Italian poetess of Armenian origin, who is rated among the classics of the Italian literature.
