ARMENIAN CONSULATE TO BE OPENED IN SOUTHERN FEDERAL DISTRICT OF RUSSIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - The general consulate of the Republic of Armenia will be opened in the Southern federal district of Russia. The question of the terms and the location of the diplomatic representation was discussed in the course of the Armenian official delegation visit to Krasnodar. To all appearance, the decision to establish the consulate will already be passed at the beginning of summer. It will be located either in Krasnodar or in Sochi. Armenian citizens residing in the Krasnodar territory, Stavropol and the republics of the North Caucasus or being there on temporary basis may appeal to the consulate. The opening of the diplomatic representation is expected to lead to mitigating the strain, accumulated due to the measures held by the Kuban leadership directed towards deportation of the so-called "illegal migrants".
