"VIRK" PARTY UNIFYING ARMENIANS RESIDING IN GEORGIA INTENDS TO BOYCOTT ELECTIONS FOR LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT BODIES

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Virk" Armenian party functioning in Georgia's Samtskhe-Javakhetia region, that is refused to be registered, will boycott the elections for the bodies of local self-government. As "Arminfo" agency reports with reference to Georgian sources, one of the "Virk" leaders David Rstakian has explained the party's intention to boycott the elections with that the election code of Georgia infringes upon the main rights and freedom of citizens. Rstakian has stated the special services of Georgia "recruit" candidates before the beginning of the elections.
