GREAT BRITAIN READY TO ASSIST IN NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - If any of the parts addresses us, we are ready to assist in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement though the Great Britain is not an OSCE Minsk group member. The Great Britain's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Timothy Jones has stated this in his interview with «Arminfo» agency. According to him, this position has always been one of the priorities of the policy of official London in the region and the British part has always had interest regarding South Caucasus. The ambassador has explained that the British side is ready to assist in the settlement «in any way as the parties to the conflict wish». At the same time Timothy Jones has added that London does not aim to replace the OSCE Minsk group under any circumstances. The conflict must be settled by the opposition sides and the mediators can only assist in the settlement.
