To justify failed diversion, Azerbaijan has started inventing legends

PanARMENIAN.Net - To justify the failed diversion, Azerbaijan has started inventing legends. According to APA news agency, “on August 31, the so-called provocative group of armed units of Armenia crossed the contact line of armies near Chaylu settlement, in an attempt to attack the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.”

Making a reference to the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, the agency went on saying that “retaliatory actions of Azerbaijani soldiers have allegedly forced Armenians to retreat, leaving three killed and several wounded.”

In reality, on August 31, on the line of contact of Karabakh and Azeri armed forces, Azeri side made another attempt at diversion. The press service of the NKR Defense Army reported that Armenian frontier guards, having noticed advancing movement of the rivals’ special detachment consisting of around 8 people, took relevant actions, repulsing the rival to its initial position. Rudik Manaseryan, a soldier of the NKR Defense Army, was injured in a close combat. However, his life is out of danger. According to preliminary data, four members of the Azerbaijani group have been killed, and the remaining - badly injured.
