UN draft resolutions to hang like sword of Damocles over Artsakh and Armenia, unless NKR’s independence is recognized

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the NKR Public Council on Foreign Policy and Security Masis Mailyan said that the fact that the UN General Assembly will not consider the Azerbaijani draft resolution on the Karabakh conflict can be estimated positively.

“It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan has requested to move the draft resolution to the agenda of the 65th Session of the UN General Assembly. It means that the resolution has not been withdrawn finally - it has been postponed for an indefinite period. Thus, similar draft resolutions will hang like a sword of Damocles over Artsakh and Armenia, unless Yerevan and Stepanakert start taking certain actions for the international recognition of Artsakh through the assistance of lobbying organizations of the Armenian Diaspora,” Mailyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
