PanARMENIAN.Net - The majority of those wishing to get Russian citizenship today are residents of the former USSR - Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and Moldova. As reported by "RosBusinessConsulting," chief of the passport and visa department of the internal affairs of Moscow Alexander Barabanschikov stated. In his words, after the passing of the law "On citizenship of the Russian Federation," the number of those granted Russian citizenship decreased 100 times. First of all, A. Barabanschikov noted, it is conditioned by rules for getting Russian citizenship becoming stricter.
