Singapore’s Foreign Minister praises Armenian community

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan has paid a working visit to Singapore. As part of it, Hakobyan participated in celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator - Singapore’s oldest Christian church.

On March 26, Hakobyan also visited Singapore’s sights related to history of the country’s Armenian community, the press service of the RA Ministry of Diaspora reported.

On March 27, Hakobyan along with Singapore’s Foreign Minister George Yeo participated in a liturgy in the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator. After the liturgy Yeo said that “Singapore’s Armenian community is the country’s crown decoration.”
