Swedish Foreign Minister delays visits to Armenia, Azerbaijan because of situation in Libya

PanARMENIAN.Net - The visit of Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt to Armenia and Azerbaijan was postponed. As the Swedish Foreign Ministry press service told PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the visit was delayed because of the situation in Libya. No specific date for the Minister’s visit to Yerevan and Baku was provided.

However, as the press service noted, on the morning of March 31, Mr. Bildt will pay a short visit to Georgia to participate in the ceremony of the opening of Swedish Embassy in Tbilisi.

As was reported earlier, Swedish Foreign Minister had scheduled a regional visit to Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia on March 30-April 2.
