Azeri parliamentarians accuse Bryza of being pro-Armenian![]() April 8, 2011 - 16:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani parliamentarian Azay Guliyev believes opening of Stepanakert airport to be “illegal” and insists that Azerbaijan ought to prevent it. He said Azerbaijan’s reaction was adequate unlike the response of the U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza. “Bryza said Armenia permits Azerbaijani airplanes’ flights to Nakhichevan, which is why Azerbaijan must allow flights to Karabakh. It is a great mistake,” he said. Meanwhile, MP Fazail Agamaly accused the U.S. ambassador of being pro-Armenian. “Bryza seems to be holding on to his pro-Armenian stance he adopted as a Co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group”, he said, according to news.az. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
