No military scenario will solve Karabakh issue, Russian expert says

PanARMENIAN.Net - The chairman of Trialogue international club, Russian political expert Dmitry Polikanov hopes the possibility of a new war in Karabakh is not a major one. As he noted, a military scenario can not be a solution to Karabakh issue. He called on the conflicting parties to practice restraint, and use joint mechanisms of the investigation of the front line incidents.

Commenting on the possibility for recent events in Libya to affect Karabaks conflict settlement, the expert noted that recent outbreaks in Arab world shifted the Karabakh conflict to the background. “No new developments in Karabakh issue are to be expected till summer,” Vesti.az quoted the expert as saying.
