Aram I deplores victims of recent attacks against Christians in Middle East

PanARMENIAN.Net - His Holiness Catholicos Aram I of the Holy See of Cilicia expressed sorrow at the recurrent attacks against Christians in the Middle East.

The Catholicos was referring to the recent spate of violence that minority Coptic Christians in Egypt and Iraq were subjected to. He spoke to local reporters on the sidelines of his official visit to the country. He also met with HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Sabah, Kuwait Times reported.

Aram I is visiting the country at the invitation extended by his community in Kuwait. He will preside over the function to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Armenian School.
