GREEK FOREIGN MINISTRY HELPS ARMENIA PREVENT DROUGHT CONSEQUENCES

PanARMENIAN.Net - 01.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The Foreign Ministry of Greece will assist Armenia in preventing drought consequences, was reported to Mediamax in the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.

The assistance amounts to 250 thousand dollars, 150 thousand of which are to be spent on seeds and fodder purchase through international FAO organization. 100 thousand dollars will be spent through World Food Program on food stuff purchase for the population, which suffered the drought. -0-
