SPEAKING OF ARMENIA ACCESSION TO EURASEC PREMATURE, ARMENIAN DEPUTY MINISTER OF TRADE SUPPOSES

PanARMENIAN.Net - Participation in the Eurasian Economic Cooperation (EurAsEC) processes as observer is the most optimal option for Armenia today. Deputy minister of trade and economic development of Armenia Tigran Davtian told journalists. "As an observer we can be aware of all processes taking place in the EurAsEC and follow the degree of efficiency of the operation of internal mechanisms of the organization," - he said. Besides, in the deputy minister's words, Armenia at the same time has to take into account its commitments due to the membership in the World Trade Organization. "I suppose only after the EurAsEC is settled as an actually functioning structure, and 4 or 5 of its members complete integration into the WTO, the issue of Armenia's accession to the Community can be discussed," - he said. Let us remind Armenia was granted observer status under the EurAsEC April 27.
