ARMENIA ESTABLISHED DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS WITH TIMOR-LESTE REPUBLICDecember 24, 2003 - 18:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Permanent representatives of Armenia and the Republic of Timor-Leste to the UN Armen Martirosian and Jose Louis Guterres yesterday signed a resolution on establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. As reported by the press service of the Armenian foreign ministry, Timor Leste became the first state in the 21-st century to attain independent on the basis of the right of peoples for self-determination and became a full member of the international community. It was internationally recognized as an independent state in May 2002.![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
