RUSSIAN MFA WELCOMES RESUMING OF NEGOTIATIONS ON KARABAKH ISSUE

PanARMENIAN.Net - The meeting of the Armenian and Azeri Presidents Robert Kocharian and Ilham Aliyev in Geneva initiated a new stage of the negotiations on the Nagorno Karabakh issue, co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Russian MFA Ambassador for special commissions Yuri Merzlyakov told Novosti Russian agency. "All of us were waiting for the resuming of the negotiation process, and we all - co-chairs of the Minsk Group and the Russian diplomacy at the bilateral basis - worked for that", - Merzlyakov reported. To note, the Armenian and Azeri leaders met December 11 in Geneva, where they arrived to participate in the World Summit on Information Society.
