EVENTS IN GEORGIA AND PROSPECTS OF ARMENIAN-GEORGIAN RELATIONS DISCUSSED IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian president Robert Kocharian today received Georgian ambassador to Armenia Nikoloz Nikolozishvili at the instance of the latter. As reported by the presidential press service, the present situation in Georgia, as well as bilateral relations were discussed. Similar issues were also discussed at today's meeting of the Georgian ambassador with chairman of the parliament of Armenia Artur Baghdasarian. N. Nikolozishvili conveyed the greetings of the new Georgian leadership - Mikhail Sahakashvili, Nino Burjanadze and Zurab Zhvania to the speaker and confirmed their readiness to develop Armenian-Georgian friendly relations. The Armenian parliament leader wished good luck to Georgia and the Georgian people in forming new authorities and restoring stability.
