IRAQI WAR RESULTED IN KILLING FOUR LOCAL ARMENIANS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The military operations in Iraq resulted in killing four local Armenians, who occasionally appeared in exchange of fire. Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian reported it. In his words, the Armenian community did not suffer significant losses. The Armenian church and the embassy building in Baghdad were not damaged. Houses of Armenians residing outside Armenian blocks of Baghdad are only plundered. The minister noted in case of need Yerevan was ready to send a rescue group to Iraq to provide humanitarian aid to those, who had suffered.
