EXPLOSION SET OFF IN GEORGIAN TOWN OF AKHALTSIKH ON ELECTION EVE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Day before the parliamentary elections an explosion was set off in the Georgian town of Akhaltsikh inhabited for most part by Armenians. As reported by Georgian sources, the incident took place Saturday in the town center, not far from the office of the two opposition parties. Two members of the parties suffered. Meanwhile, due to the outcomes of the parliamentary elections held in Georgia yesterday, "For New Georgia" bloc headed by Shevarnadze won the majority of votes.
