SLOVENIA HIGHLIGHTS ARMENIA'S EFFORTS FOR SECURING STABILITY IN SOUTH CAUCASUS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Slovenia highly appreciates Armenia's political efforts for preserving stability in the South Caucasus, head of the Slovenian foreign minister Dimitrij Rupel stated at the meeting held in Lyublyana with Armenian FM Vardan Oskanian. According to the Armenian MFA press service, the parties also discussed the issues of creating a contractual-legal basis between the two counties. D. Rupel also expressed interest in the soonest signing of the corresponding papers in the sphere of agriculture and transport communications. At the meeting held by Vardan Oskanian and Slovenian Prime Minister Anton Rop, the matter concerned the development of bilateral economic cooperation. Specifically, the necessity of holding business-forums and trade fairs with the participation of entrepreneurs from Armenia and Slovakia with the objective of regulating commerce available between the two countries has been noted.
