"Turkey is negotiating for the entry to the European Union at present and one of the tasks the EU has set Turkey is stabilization of the relations with its neighbors. The present flight may be considered as a step made by Ankara in this direction. However, before making steps of such character Ankara should analyze both the benefit and possible harm", - the minister said. At the same time V. Guliyev noted the solidarity on many issues available between Turkey and Azerbaijan. The minister informed that several years ago attempts to establish a charter flight to Greek Cyprus were made, but President Heydar Aliyev categorically rejected such an initiative.
