OVERLAND BORDER OPENING SHOULD FOLLOW ESTABLISHMENT OF AIR BRIDGE BETWEEN ARMENIA AND TURKEY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish parliament ex-speaker Sabit Osman Avci considers the soonest settlement of relations between Armenia and Turkey to be of the utmost importance. As reported by Arminfo agency according to Hurriyet Turkish newspaper, he stated that when commenting on the first Istanbul-Yerevan flight exercised by Fly Air Turkish company the day before. In Avci's opinion, it would be better for the two countries to live in harmony. According to the Turkish newspapers, Turkish businessman Murat Yalchntash fully shares the ex-speaker's opinion. In his words, "the simplest way of cooperating with the neighbors is the boundary commerce". The entrepreneur is convinced that the opening of the "overland gates" should follow the establishment of the air bridge. To note, 80 passengers arrived in Armenia by the first Istanbul-Yerevan flight October 16.
