TCS RAPID DEPLOYMENT FORCE COLLECTIVE MANEUVERS TO BE HELD IN 2004

PanARMENIAN.Net - Treaty on Collective Security (TCS) member countries will hold an exercise of collective rapid deployment forces in 2004, said chief of headquarters for coordination of military cooperation between CIS member countries Vladimir Yakovlev, "Novosti" Russian agency reported. In his words, representatives of all 6 TCS member countries - Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan will participate in the maneuvers. Presence of experts from other CIS countries is also expected. The terms and site for holding the exercise will be decided before November.
