KHACHKAR OPENING IN TULA RUSSIAN CITY AS SIGN OF RUSSIAN-ARMENIAN FRIENDSHIP

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today a monument-cross (khachkar) symbolizing the centuries-old Armenian-Russian friendship opens in Tula Russian city. The monument is situated in a new square in the center of the city, the building of which was sponsored by the local Armenian diaspora counting over 1000 people. As reported by "Yerkramas" newspaper of Armenians of the south of Russia, the Armenian community of the Tula region also has its cultural center and issues a newspaper.
