Music and dancing groups and soloists are representing Armenian culture in the cities of Damask, Aleppo, Kamishli and Latakia. Besides, exhibitions of works of Martiros Saryan and Sergey Paradzhanov have been arranged in the Syrian capital. On occasion of the Armenian culture days, Armenian delegation headed by minister of culture Tamara Poghosian is paying visit to Syria at present. The delegation members met with Syrian Prime Minister Naji Utri and minister of culture Mahmud al-Sayed, who has already signed a program of cultural cooperation for years 2004-2006 with the Armenian party.
