ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER INVITED EX-GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA GEORGE DEUKMEJIAN FOR ADMINISTRATIVE POSITION

PanARMENIAN.Net - California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has invited ex-Governor of the state George Deukmejian to head the commission for invigoration of the penitential system of the state. According to Los Angeles Times, having been the Governor of California in 1983-1991, George Deukmejian was in charge of the process of increasing the number of prisons in order to bring them into accord with the more than twofold increase of the number of convicts.
