The NSS told PanARMENIAN.Net that Turks spent only one hour at the NSS – they were let go after a conversation. “We just wanted to find out how Tuna Beklevic and Baybars Orsek crossed on October 10 the Armenian-Turkish border, which is guarded by Russian frontiers. They answered our questions and we let them go,” the source said. And, possibly, rather serious experts need not comment the arrival of Turkish marginal persons, though it lies at door of journalists…
Powerful Turkey party was created several years ago and, one can say, is a youth wing of the ruling Justice and Development Party. It is not an opposition party, but can serve as a kite for those politicians, who want to test the waters in Armenia with respect to the Armenian-Turkish relations’ future. It is noteworthy that Beklevic and Orsek have failed the conference they wanted to organize with Analytical Center on Globalization and Regional Cooperation.
As for their unwillingness to visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial, it is natural. Not all Turks, which arrive in Armenia, have the courage to take that step.
