On March 23, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan convoked a meeting of the Security Council to discuss the draft of the NKR Civil Defense Strategy.

Director of the rescue service Arthur Harutyunyan delivered a report on the issue.

President Sahakyan considered the organization and implementation of civil defense among the key functions of the state, a pivotal and integral component of the country’s security.

He also approved the draft of the Civil Defense Strategy and assigned the Security Council Secretary to start the approval process of the document in accordance with the established procedure.
